Bien mais nous avions espéré mieux

L’emplacement du gîte est très bon, nous avons pu tout faire à pieds (la station de métro est à 2 min). La literie est bonne.

Le petit déjeuner est un peu simple (yaourt avec un peu de fruit et trois petites tranches de pudding). La douche de la salle de bain commune est compliquée à utiliser. L’accueil a été très souriant mais les échanges sont restés très professionnels.

Beautiful accommodations and wonderful hosts. I would book again.

I really like the hosts, location and building. The accommodations was beautiful.

The entire road was under construction which made it difficult to find and it felt a bit unsafe at night. I would have like to know about the construction when I booked.

Exceptional

Our room was very cute and comfortable, in an excellent location. Nathalie and Robert were lovely, warm and friendly hosts who were so willing to give us tips on where to go. We were sad to leave and hope to return one day!

Honestly loved everything. The only comment I would make would be that breakfast was the same 4 days in a row. It was delicious but we would have liked maybe something different.

Superb

Rooms was very unique and beds were very comfy. Location is nice, a 15 min walk from vieux port. Also it is very close to a supermarket IGA which helps. Breakfast was good, bread and jam yogurt with fruits and cereals and some sort of pie…

The road was in construction so we had to carry all our luggage from the bus station parking lot and also was very noisy after 7 am. I am a late sleeper so it was a bit annoying …

This was an extremely friendly place to stay and very comfortable.

It was in reasonable walking distance to all the main attractions in Montreal including the quayside. Breakfast was included in the price and was extremely pleasant. It included homemade jams that were unusual and tasty. We sat round a single large table and all chatted throughout the meal. I met several interesting people who were staying through their work or were on holiday. The hostess was really friendly and extremely helpful. She even carried my case down some very steep stairs when I was leaving and offered help in collecting it when I lost my camera.

Nothing. I would happily return and stay there again.

Excellent, highly recommended

Excellent Management Team. Look after every small thing. Breakfast was healthy and efficient. they recommended local restaurants, sightseeing. You can trust the team! Location is great. In the center of the city around safe neighbor.

I would like to come again!

Thank you for a very nice stay! I very much appreciated the warm welcome by Nathalie and Robert and the information / tips they gave me. Great breakfast! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the exchange with the other guests during breakfast. Nice and quiet room. The heating worked well.

The most amazingly cosy place to stay in!

When I saw the 9. 2 rating I was a bit skeptical but after spending 2 days here I feel that it's unfair and it should be a 10! The hosts are simply amazing. From the moment I made the booking they were proactively reaching out to me to make sure that I have all the information that I need and to accommodate my very early check-in. They really treat you like a member of the family and they have great advice on places to see in Montreal. One can feel how passionate they are about making the experience enjoyable for you from the delicious hand made breakfast to the amazing flexibility of accommodating every request we made. They also were very generous with a gift they gave us for staying more than 1 night. On a more practical note, the house is strategically located steps away from the BERRI-UQAM subway station which makes visiting all important places of the city quite easy. The room is cosy and overlook a beautiful terrace. The house amenities - living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace - are open to all travellers and the house is beautifully decorated. I'm planning on coming back and bringing my husband with me next time 🥰

Exceptional

Natalie and Robert, are amongst the sweetest hosts I ever met - so welcoming and helpful with everything. The breakfast is exquisite and the location of the accommodation could not be better in my view - right in the center, but still calm and close to public transport. The atmosphere of the house is very familial and personally, I liked the fact of sharing (very clean!) bathrooms and having breakfast at one table as it opens the possibility also to meet other travelers. I very much hope to be back someday :).

Awesome location and staff!

Staff was friendly and helpful, location was absolutely perfect, check in was intuitive and easy, cute decoration, control over heater, clean and tidy place, breakfast was yummy, no complaints!

There was some construction noise in the morning, but this is a Montreal/QC thing unfortunately...

Simply perfect!

We liked everything: the hosts Robert and Nathalie (so nice and helpful), the location (close to everything and a few steps from the subway station), the cozy atmosphere (room was warm and so pleasant), the breakfast (delicious and in a single table, together with other guests, where we had the opportunity to get to know awsome people and exchange experiences)! :-)

Great Breakfast. Good Location. Comfortable Room.

It was my first time in Montreal and I was lucky to find this place as my accommodation. The owners were lovely and made my stay super comfortable. The best part was it was a blend of both hotel and a homely touch. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful location with warm welcoming hosts.

Location was close to a main subway station with easy access to major sites. The hosts were friendly, gave helpful travel advice, and encouraged guests to share experiences.

Very good

Breakfast was simple but nice. Fresh made bread pudding and jam. The owner is very friendly. Its an older building but the room and bathroom are very clean. Location is central and easy to get around. What I appreciated a lot was bus stop to and from the airport was a short walk away.

I hope to be back to this home away from home!

What a wonderful space with so much charm and character and the best hosts! Nathalie and Robert were amazing and Nathalie’s breakfasts complete with a new compote each day were delicious! The location is perfect and we were able to easily walk everywhere and rent bikes for our longer adventurous day. A bonus is the rooftop patio where we are a couple of dinners enjoying local delights!

Will recommend and come back anytime.

Very nice host, gave good advice about restaurent, and guidance regarding the location and safety or the area. Nice room, confortable, clean and very quiet. Size of the room was perfect for my need, it even had a refrigerator in the room.

really, I was really impressed byt the room and I have nothing negative to say except that there were weird this like clothes in the street in the morning but this has nothing to do with the room itself.

A comfortable conveniently located small hotel.

The place is small but cozy and of the old architectural style. More of a rented room than a hotel, I would say. The staff is nice, helpful and friendly. The location is very convenient, 5 mins from a major subway intersection. There are places to eat and a supermarket nearby. You can get to Old Montreal in 15 minutes, same to the island, and to botanical garden/Biodome in 20-30. At the same time, it is on the quiet small street. I didn't order any breakfast.

I’d totally stay again!

It was lovely—I had breakfast on the terrace, the room was wonderfully decorated, and the hosts are warm and helpful.

There is a lot of construction in the neighborhood, nothing the hosts can control, but it’s less than ideal. The place has a warm and personal feel, a sense of community.

Great location, close to Metro, very convenient, helpful hosts.

Very steep staircase to enter, be warned. If you cannot manage your luggage up this, be sure to arrive when you can get assistance from the hosts.

This was an excellent B&B. The hosts were terrific, very nice, helpful and gracious.

It was clean with a personal bathroom and the beds were comfortable.

The room was a bit warm at times.
