Good central location, easy to walk to the port, downtown, Chinatown and up to the Plateau.
Most appliances worked, air con greatly appreciated, although the lamps and some electrical outlets didn't work. The apartment was a good height above the street, airy and bright with windows on two sides. Towels were clean, and cleaning materials were provided. Emergency fire alarms work!
The living area was dirty and smelled bad (bathroom was fine). We washed the bed and couch covers and I would have washed the base sheet if I'd seen it at the beginning. The exterior of the building, the location and the interiors are not what is shown in the photos, but they were all acceptable. Note that the second bedroom was an alcove, not a separate room, and not possible to block out lights from the lounge window. The property owner was unresponsive once we had accessed the building, a problem when the building was evacuated and the lifts didn't work when we needed to get back in. Guests should note that there are drug dealers and users out the front and down the side, but they did not cause us any problem, just watch for syringes. The location was good.

The apartment was roomy enough and it had house essential things like dishwashing soap, enough towels and bedding etc.
The location was horrible. We found out that this place is right next to a drug injection site. If you’re not Canadian you might not know what this means but basically it functions as a clinic that help addicts inject their drugs safely and providing them clean needles as well as testing their drugs to make sure it isn’t spiked with something lethal. At night time there are over 20 addicts in the street right next to the facility. Mind you we were traveling with our kids, so in the morning we found broken vials, needles and even a cloth tie that was blood stained.
