Wonderful property in a fantastic location. Just 25 minuets from the Airport and we were in the heart of so much to see and do. The hotel greeted us warmly and got us checked in early! Fantastic service all around. Walking distance to amazing dining options and so many museums. The room (507) was extremely quite. Bedding was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. Plenty of closet space and storage for our 4 night visit. Housekeeping did a nice job daily. The bathroom was large and water pressure was great. The room may have been a little small by some standards but for a historic hotel in a historic area the room was comfortable and exceeded the value in my opinion. Breakfast daily was good and a great way to kick start the day. Would happily stay here again.

This is indeed a historic building, and the architecture in the part of Philly is beautiful. But step inside and this is a tired old hotel.
There’s nothing boutique about this hotel. Plain and uninspired. My room was small, though it did have a high ceiling. Window looked out on other dirty windows and a narrow alley space. Not much light.
