Very peaceful location but an easy drive to town. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast had everything we needed plus more. Fresh bathroom linen every day. Quite spacious with a nice lounge area. Mini fridge is quite welcome. Nice area outside to sit and relax. Nice location to base ourselves for whole day activities
The bed is a double which is quite snug if you’re used to something bigger. Breakfast table is a bit wobbly and every accidental bump sent coffee splashing!

The property is close to Sproat Lake and the city of Port Alberni, so we liked the location. The surroundings are peaceful and serene. The bed was very comfortable, towels were thick and fluffy, and we liked that breakfast could be pulled out whenever we wanted it. The smoked salmon was a nice touch. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
Booking.com advertises that the property is air conditioned, but it is not. However, there is a tall fan one can use in the bedroom or living area. As there is no closet in the bedroom and no luggage rack, we had to put our suitcases on the floor. One night there and it’s not too big a deal, but if I was staying longer, a small dresser and a place to hang clothes would be appreciated.
