When I drove up it didn’t look too good – cracked concrete, uneven painting, no indication of the Office. The office seems to be part of the restaurant, and a sign said it was closed even though it was after the start of check in. But staff was there and they checked me in. The room was actually very nice. Appears to have been recently decorated, and everything is in good condition. Appliances all work – fridge with freezer, microwave, hairdryer, A/C. Some nice touches – I liked the big desk that functions as a bedside table as well as a desk. The track lighting really brightened the room up at night. A couple of electrical plugs had working USB ports. The bathroom had very convenient shelves either side of the basin.
Major issue with this place was lousy internet. They have several unsecured links and one secured with a password. I could log into the secured internet, and my computer said Connected, but it wouldn’t go to any web sites. The unsecured links (tried the 2 with the strongest signal) connected and went to web sites, but would not do a video call – it pixelated and kept dropping out. We went to voice only and that was OK. Wouldn’t always send my route information to my car. Other than the internet I enjoyed staying at this place.

Clean and renovated. Just beside the highway, easy to find. It has a japanese restaurant with excellent food!
