Our room was in Wing 5, so it had a view of the small of the hotels two pools from our patio. I love the 1950s Art Deco decor and atmosphere of the whole hotel and it was echoed in our lovely room. The mattress, towels, shower, and products were all high quality. Stepping onto the grounds of the Hotel Valley Ho is like stepping back into what Scottsdale was like in the 1950s and 60s, and it's luxurious.
The room had "mood lighting," but even when you use that setting, some of the bright lights still come on. I understand that if you are just using the pool during the daytime, you have to charge $28 for parking, but if you are paying for a room, that fee should be included.

Cute vintage style and very clean comfortable rooms. Wonderful front desk and valet team. Great managers when we needed to troubleshoot certain things that didn’t go well during our stay.
I wasn’t aware this was a bit of a party spot. Many guests were smoking cigars in the courtyard and it was a pretty rowdy crowd on Friday and Saturday night. There was a bit of a disconnect between the upscale marketing and the actual reality of our stay.
