I love that the location is directly across from the American Airlines center which made it incredibly easy to walk across the street for an event that evening. It was a beautiful hotel and very clean with friendly and helpful staff.
Parking in downtown can be a bit chaotic and inconvenient to find a spot close to the hotel plus there is a ton of construction behind the hotel. The best option, especially when traveling with multiple bags and children is to valet so you aren't walking through the streets of downtown with luggage. . Unfortunately as a hotel guest it is $70/day for valet, and that seems excessive as a hotel guest especially when self parking isn't close or convenient.

Location of the hotel and the front desk assistance was great
Interior design of the room is older and not fresh.
At 11:00 in the morning there was no hot water… I tried to call the front desk with the phone in the room, but it does not work… So I used my cell phone to call the front desk and an hour later they restored hot water to the room with no real apology. or refund. I was told by the front desk that nobody else has complained of this problem… That seems difficult to believe.
