Disappointed

I love the location we have stayed several times before over the years but this stay was not great

The room had an awful smell, the TV didn’t work and when we called front desk they said the person who fixes things wasn’t in. So we didn’t have a television all weekend.

Pleasantly pleased!

Didn’t have a breakfast. Didn’t know it was available free. The room was very large. Beds were comfortable. Everything was within walking distance. It was a great stay.

Had trouble finding our way around the hotel due to so many stairways.

Worst stay ever!

Nothing. Dirty room.

The elevators are slow. There was no ice in any of the ice machines. The vending machines took my cash and charged my card and did not release the items I paid for.

I'd stay here again for a quick stop over.

nice room, cute facility! We love vintage everything so this really met our expectations.

the people in the room next to us had a dog in their room. They allowed the dog to poop out in the common area (near the outside tables for guests) it was there for a whole day, and no one picked it up. We kept having to back & forth near it to get to out room.

Horrible

Parking and trying to locate our room was like a scavenger hunt. The room was totally overpriced for what you got. I was told I was going to have a jacuzzi tub room. I had a regular shower??? And the worst part of all was the bed. We probably were lucky if we got 3 hours of sleep. Was not happy with our stay!

Overpriced for what I was suppose to have gotten. Did not get the oversized bathtub I booked?? The bed was horribly uncomfortable! Hardly slept.

wonderful resort style feel that was quite affordable for the area.

it was beautifully designed and had a great view.

the steps were steep and lacked adequate elevators to accommodate those amazing views for disabled folks.

Parking, Elevator working part time. Had to call maintenance to get it to work. I'm handicapped and could not use the stairs

It was adequate for our needs.

The location was fine for exploring the San Diego Old Town area. The pool was a decent size. It was close, walking distance, to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops which is nice. It was walking distance to San Diego Old Town Historic Park which was a plus.

The carpeting in the room had several stains on it so even if it was cleaned prior to our stay, it gave a sensation of being an unclean room. The valve for the shower did not work properly and the door did not always open cleanly on the third and fourth day of our stay. The pool was heated which was wonderful but the thermostat needed to be turned down about five degrees. It was like taking a swim in the spa/jacuzzi. When checking out, we informed front desk about the shower, door, and pool.

great location, decent hotel.

the location is great. super close to trains and in the middle of old town.

it just didn’t feel worth the value. there were some gnats and mosquitoes, but not sure if that’s unavoidable at the beach.

Absolutely great

Turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Perfect location and great unique place. Staff were great and food was abundant within walking distance. We will return for sure.

So so, areas beautiful, the gardens are wonderful.

Nice staff. Which room will be nicer, more cleaner and more up to date. The room smell like chemicals, outdated, sheets felt rough. We stay once a year in this hotel. Hasn’t changed, referring to the rooms! Great area.

Beautiful hotel in Olde Town!!!!

The scenery and architecture of the property was absolutely gorgeous!!! I was impressive that it was a Best Western Plus property

Great place ti stay.

Meals were great and conveniently around the corner. Very handy. Location is great! We stayed here once before and really liked it. So went for a second time. Would probably return a third time.

Other people staying there were loud at night. But it stopped at a decent time. Hot water was not real hot just warm.

Good hotel in the heart of Old San Diego.

We missed a breakfast included. Everything too Mexican.

Is a little confuse to find a room. Some rooms are too far away fron lobby.

SFN conference in San Diego

Nice and safe location, easy travel on troley to Convention center and downtown San Diego. Shuttle to the Airport and nice and warm swimming pool. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge in the room.

Room service was every second day and was not ideal. Light was on all day, garbage was left around coffee maker, but otherwise ok. Also we had to change room. We have book 2 single beds but received one. But after complaining, we were given originally booked room.

We love this location for scenery, convenience and OlD

There was a plumbing problem(?) during our stay. We had to be moved Tom’s different room. Actually, the new room was great- easily accessible especially since I have heart problems.m

Someone forgot our wake up call.
