Location was great!

The hotel is located in a very walkable neighborhood. My family and I had fun walking over to the Old Town area which I really thought was cool.

Woke up before noon one morning and there was no power in certain parts of the room, including the bathroom. It was weird. I called the front desk about this immediately, however, they mentioned that workers were working on it. About an hour later the power came back on and the front desk said they’d provide a comp for dinner that night. They followed through, so everything worked out. Just strange though, never happened to me at ANY hotel, ever. You have to pay like 30 dollars a night for parking.

Location is great if you want to travel around San Diego, comfortable room, clean.

Is not a place to walk around, need a car, is just by the highway

In general all was good two rooms toguether divided by just one door, room size very good staff amiable all good

the fact that they charged $30.00 for parking vehicle otherwise street parking I wish there was a note at time of booking about it either on their site or in booking,com booking page, that way there is no surprises

The hotel and location is excellent to the Old Town area.

Very friendly staff, would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again

This may sound nitpicky but the pillows are so soft I woke up with a crazy stiff neck all 2 days so next time I’m bringing my own pillows

It was great other than the pool closing earlier than advertised upstairs. Sign outside of pool does say closes at 10.

Clean, walking distance to Old Town and a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere you want to go.

A/C was in but still felt stuffy. On the Tv it said pool closes at 11, wanted to go night swimming with the family, went down to the pool at 10:15 and it was closed.

Not my favorite

The size of the room and the bathroom were exactly what I expected. I knew the location and was nice to have quick access to the freeway, etc.

The property is pretty run down. Cleaning details are lacking. Dusty edges and corners in the public bathroom, breakfast and lobby areas. The bathroom in our room was clean for the most part, but there was mold in the caulking, rust around the edges and corners were dirty. The biggest problem was the A/C didn't work well. The room was extremely humid.

Great hotel walking distance from the main street in old town. Very clean rooms. Great place I will be back.

The young man that checked us in was awesome too bad I don’t remember his name but he was great very professional and courteous and very friendly awesome young man I was in customer service for 32 years and he is a great example of customer service

A GREAT, long weekend getaway!

Location near Old Town District; close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms clean and comfortable. Utilized the Starbucks each day for muffin and morning coffee.

While parking in the Old Town area is at a premium and I paid for on-site parking, I would have wished that it was either a a cheaper rate or an included feature of the hotel. The secured parking was as very nice feature!

Supposed to get what you pay for

Location was excellent

I know it's old town. Being outdated is ok if it's excellent service and clean. This was far from that. Very Very outdated and way to dirty for the price they charge, carpets are filthy. And way to much steps to walk up for my room.

It was the best experience ever at the countryard

It’s a good location cause it’s near the old town San Diego. We experienced something new.

One of the security guards wasn’t polite, but thank u to one of your DM for showing up and taking care of the matter.

Pleasant

Bathroom was clean and acceptable. Location was right next to the highway. Not disturbed at night.

Room lighting was poor and dim. Parking costed $27 per day.

Okay, but next time, I’ll stay elsewhere

The hotel is freeway-close, our room was clean, and staff was friendly enough.

Overall, the hotel appears to be in need of renovation. Check-in was fast, but I had to inquire about parking (an additional 20 bucks) and wasn’t given a copy of anything. The room was small as was the bathroom. It’s location (across the freeway from the airport) suggests that it caters to individuals who fly-in rather than drive-in.

Great stay except for the price of having a pet.

comfortable, convenient to the airport, pet friendly

Value for a pet was way overpriced. Makes me want to start sneaking him in .... not a fun option but $75!!!! for a pet that is non barking, small, hypoallergenic, non shedding. What did I get for this money? Nothing at all. A real ripoff. Will not stay here again because of that.

Friendly staff, great location. Nice food but a little limited in variety.

Just the personal detail such as the welcome message in the room, wrong name on both days but different each day. Pool closed! Road noise in room.

William at the front desk was exceptional! The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. Just a short walk to Old Town and only a few miles from major attractions. We will definitely stay here again!
