I highly recommend Hotel Manoir Morgan for anyone visiting Old Quebec, whether you are traveling for business, leisure, or a mix of both. During my recent one-day business trip, I also wanted to fit in some sightseeing, and this property turned out to be the absolute perfect choice.
The standout feature of this hotel is its incredible location. It sits right in front of the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, meaning you wake up to postcard-perfect views of one of Canada's most famous landmarks. Because it is so centrally located, all of the best tourist attractions in the historic district are within easy walking distance, making it effortless to maximize a short itinerary.
Inside, the hotel is beautifully maintained and blends historic charm with contemporary comfort. The rooms are elegantly designed, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful from check-in to check-out, providing excellent service that made the visit seamless. I would absolutely stay here again.
Nothing to say

Location was directly across from Hotel Frontenac, easily walkable for shopping, eating or sightseeing. Our room, 110, was very large, quiet, bed comfortable, coffee machine.
The only drawback, if you could call it that, was the shower floor was slippery because it is made of plastic. And the other problem was getting luggage up & down the front stairs & no one to help.

Good location but awkward luggage drop off.
Staff to manage customers coming in/out.

Staff were helpful. Location was fantastic -- central to everything inside old town.
We were given a room with a broken cooling system. From the moment we arrived, to when we finally were moved to a different room -- for two nights -- the room temp was a steady 26C/80F. We spent two fairly sleepless, hot, sweaty nights. We were told the windows couldn't be opened. Eventually we were told the AC was broken, and a repair company was notified, but that we would have to pay for a better room with a functioning cooling system in the meantime. Guests should double check if the cooling system works, before accepting a room assignment! The hotel should not have given us that room, and maybe if full, could have booked us a room in a nearby comparable hotel until repairs were completed. After two nights, for which we are now still catching up on sleep lost, the receptionist put us in a room with a functioning cooling system and a view of the plaza....and we slept like children. (which we are not!)
