Everything is always great when I stay here! Staff is always super friendly and helpful.
Elevator was pretty slow. One time when I was in with another worker it did briefly stop and actually surprised us both but it continued within the minute luckily! You also have to press harder on the buttons.

The location was excellent. Hotel lobby and outdoor seating amazing. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet.

The location is great. Also, because it's a relatively small hotel, it doesn't feel chaotic . It also has a bar/coffee place. Locals even stopped there to get a latte etc. Also the location is great. Right near the lake, I am very close to the red line -and the neighborhood is full of restaurants etc. And not really touristy at all.
I get why some people say the facility could use an update. However, it's such a warm, comfortable inconvenient place this day. You just can't fault it.

Location was great. Loved the lobby area with the bar and tables. Really loved the seating on the sidewalk in the shade. Ms. Cookie ?? at the desk was super helpful with a room change. I appreciated her kindness and help with the situation
Rooms small with awkward layout due to older building. First room we were put in was extremely dark and faced an alley with a fire escape. Requested a move. They did accommodate to the only other room available which was brighter but still faced parking garage close to our window and other rooms facing ours in a different alley. Also our room was not cleaned in the am between nights.
