Breakfast was fine. Good healthy choices.
I had no knowledge that the bed would be so high. I truly needed a step stool. It was an unfortunate surprise for me.

The old colonial house felt very cozy and beautiful. Had coffee tea and coco available 24 hours a day.
Walls were a little thin but it is an old building so not a surprise

The staff was fantastic. So warm and helpful. Our reason for travel was medical and parts of the trip were hard. The staff greeted us at the end of the day with such kindness that I will not soon forget it. They made great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. The Inn and the property were beautiful. I felt like we were staying in a Christmas postcard.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. A better mattress would have helped.

We loved the location, Simsbury is beautiful. The staff are so lovely and the little sitting area is comfy and nice with the fire. We also loved the onsite restaurant, it was amazing food! The beds are really comfy as well! Large carpark which was convenient.
The bathrooms felt grotty and old. They need doing up, specifically the floor tiles are cracked and it just looks dirty. There was hair in the bathroom as well. We stayed in room 105 and we could hear the generator the whole time we stayed, quite a loud hum. For the price we paid it did not live up to expectations. The hallways also needed painting. If the place was looked after a little better it would be amazing! Breakfast is okay; but would be good if them collaborated with the restaurant for better options and a seating area!
