The pool and basketball courts were nice
The room configuration was not what I expected and the ‘queen’ bed seemed more like a full. There were stains on the pull out couch bed and linens. So cleanliness was really lacking.

Not much
We booked this room to get a good nights sleep before driving 16 hours.
The room was freezing. We had to pile up pillows to block the draft from the outside wall.
At 6:30 am we were shockingly awoken by loud fire alarms. The kitchen grrrr 😖 So we didn’t get much sleep at all. 😩 We tried to rest unsuccessfully. By the time we gave up on the hopes of sleep, we showered and packed up, and then we were too late for the free breakfast included with the ridiculous price we paid to stay in West Springfield. They even charged us to park our car.
I lived in that City for three years previously and there’s nothing special about it. There is a huge parking lot which was 3/4 empty and probably never full. So disappointed as it was a “Marriott”. We had a terrible time staying awake for our very long drive. I ended up getting very sick. 🥹
We would like a refund or a free night voucher.
The only reason I haven’t written sooner is because I have been sick in bed since we got back.

The room reeked of smoke and was t clean - when I complained the manager came and said she couldn’t smell anything - but offered odor eliminators???
Horrible customer service bc one of us has asthma and coughed all night!!!

Staff was great 👍 Loved the fire pit on the patio and the fireplace in our room. Everything was very clean.
Breakfast was good, nice variety of choices. The only downside was the spoiled milk. I had to throw away my cereal and my daughter had to throw away her cofffee.

Room was average
Elevator down for 1/2 of stay, pool under maintenance and still not open when we left, breakfast was mediocre at best. Eggs and sausage weren't even warm, very limited choices. Decor very plain. Outside grounds in serious need of attention, very overgrown and unkept. We are loyal Residents Inn patrons and always choose to stay at Residents Inn when we travel. We have been staying at the Residents Inn in Watertown every March since 2017, as we plan an extended weekend getaway every year. We have stayed at West Springfield, Chicopee, Branchburg, NJ and Watertown. And this stay in West Springfield was definitely not up to the standards of the other locations. When we book again next year we will be looking into other hotels in the area for our stay.

I stayed in the king studio which was big and bed very comfortable. Full size kitchen and full size stove/oven and fridge.
Workout room had machines that needed work and the cleaning products at the gym were dried out.

It was clean, quiet, A LOT OF OUTLETS! Kitchen was prepped well. love the cute mini salt+mini pepper + mini dishsoap. LOTS of towels. Room SMELLED clean. I didn't feel disgusted walking barefoot. Bathtub was clean and inviting to take a soaking bath)) Once I put the sign out not to disturb, housemaids didn't even knock or bother to "check in", which I was looking forward to (in some other hotels they still know even if you put the sign out). LOTS of pillows of different comfort level, soft, tightly packed, large, small AND ALL SMELLED CLEAN but not of chemicals, just clean.
A spider, stains on bed headboard from cleaning solution that wasn't wiped thoroughly, tv wasn't working (it turned on and off, but no channels), no clear instructions how to make it work.

THE BATHROOM SHOWER WAS CLOGGED WITH A TON OF HAIR IT WAS ALMOST OVERFLOWING. YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR HOUSEKEEPING STAFF THERE MISSING IMPORTANT THINGS THANLS MARK LILLIE. MY GIRLFRIEND CLEANED IT FOR YOU

it was a nice property
they didn’t have the suite I booked cleaned when I got there and they didn’t have anyone to get it clean so I had to stay in different room which wasn’t the one I wanted but had no choice I also wasn’t able to get breakfast went down at 10am and they told me that’s the time they stop serving breakfast
