Fantastic location, responsive staff, and charming old historic building! I liked the door code system rather than needing to keep track of a key card. Would stay there again!
Not a fan of the sliding door to bathroom in the double full room—there was a gap you could see through and it offered very little privacy. Why not a real door?
Also, our other room was the triple twin bed room with no restroom in the room at all, something we missed entirely when booking because all that was said about it was the phrase “shared restroom” at the very bottom. I think people generally expect a restroom inside a hotel room and it’s worth it to make the situation more clear than that on the listing.

It’s hot in the rooms. The available fan was really nice though!

Funky historic hotel; good location for music at Crystal Palace or Powell’s Books, etc. Previous visit- we took the king suite- large Windows’s, deep tub, great urban vibe. Standard room? Not so great.
Standard queen room felt much smaller than the advertised 205 SF. Just a few inches wider than the bed- so person sleeping against the wall had to climb over the one sleeping on the only side NOT against the a wall. Dim lighting; dark tiles in bathroom- seemed clean but unable to see & verify! Not much surface to put things down. (One small desk with chair).
