We really liked the location. It was fairly quiet, but within walking distance to restaurants and the green belt. We loved the complimentary use of bikes for riding along the green belt. It was only a few blocks to get to the trail and was a great way to end the day. Staff was very friendly. I greatly enjoyed eating off "real" plates with actual silverware for breakfast. I loved the aesthetic-room just looked "put together" and I love the idea of refurbishing an older hotel. Room size was nice and the mattress was great.

The Modern Hotel was a nice surprise. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and you can use the hotel’s bikes free of charge to explore the city. The location was perfect, would definitely recommend!
Breakfast was a little small. In the afternoon, the outdoors terrace can only be used by bar guests.

Front desk staff was very nice, room was clean, shower was phenomenal.
Air conditioning cooled, but not to the desired temps we wanted. The egg cups at breakfast were super delicious but quite small.

Good location, clean, modern.
Staff was rude and directed us to eat in the street when we sought to enjoy our takeout on the patio and order a beer. They claimed that the health department would not allow it. Typically these courtyards are open to guests so it was unusual their desire to shoo us away. Our room only had a single chair and thin railing so there was no convenient place for us to eat.
