The Hyatt Place hotels all have a very generous room layout which includes a small seating area. Very comfortable room and in a great location, close to good restaurants and the state capital.
I find it a bit unfair for the big chain hotels to expect guests to tip the housekeeping staff, who we never see. The room was very clean but surely these corporations should pay these staff a decent wage where they do not have to rely on tips.

It was very clean, and in a convenient location for downtown. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed on the 5th floor, and it was completely quiet.
There were no microwaves in our room, so we had to go down to the breakfast area to use the one down there. We were told the bar would be open until 11pm on Friday night, but when we went down at 10pm we were told they closed early at 9pm. The breakfast was ok, but very basic, not many options, and bland.
