The Village Lodge is an excellent choice for a stay; the location is perfect, featuring a walkable village atmosphere with over ten restaurants easily accessible right outside your door. (AI created BUT true)
The room was very nice. Good layout; homey.
Had two issues:
There's no Central AC. So, a large portable AC unit was placed in the living room. The exhaust tube fell off, while sleeping, and blew cold air out the front and hot air out the back. I fixed it. Rough night sleep.
The 2nd night, No Hot Water, after a day of hiking and riding in a dusty bus.
Stuff happens. I survived, they supposedly refunded the resort fee,

The village Lodge is very beautiful. Our room was super comfortable cozy and spacious. We tried that Italian restaurant was very good and we also tried Gomez Mexican food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect and so was the Jacuzzi not to mention the rooms have pretty big bath tubs. I will definitely stay again.
