Terrible staff

I only heard great things about this hotel and wanted to stay their because of that. But unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I booked this room back in August and left a comment specifically to have the room cleaned on Friday to Saturday night. My stay was from Thursday to Sunday. When I checked in on Thursday I also mentioned again that I would like the room to be cleaned on Saturday morning, because that was my wedding day and my husband and I were going to spend our night there. Om Friday morning, we called requesting another chair in the room and more towels. We did not get that until Saturday morning, when I called again! When we got back on Saturday evening, to our surprise the room was not cleaned. There were no extra towels. And nothing was changed over. When I called over to the front desk, they did confirm the comment, but said that they had a 'full house' and therefore we're not able to clean our room. This should not be an excuse, because I requested this back in August and there should be adequate staffing. The next morning, the housekeeper came in knocking on our door at 9:00 a.m. asking if we need housekeeping. We were checking out that morning, why would we need a housekeeping!?!? And it was inappropriate to wake us up when there was a 'do not disturb' sign. Very, very disappointed.

Modern and clean

Booked through booking.com but was charged again at check in. When I asked for a refund was told it would take several days for refund. Management didn’t seem to care.

The staff was helpful when I needed something

There was no soap in the room and when I asked about it I was told it was in backorder. 😯 The sink was clogged and there were no clean towels or wash clothes in the room.

Restaurants and stores closed so early. The 20.00 fee for parking that wasn't listed anywhere!

Disappointing

Location was perfect

Getting locked out of our room and having to wait over 20 minutes in the hall. At 1240am. 1st staff came, then security, then staff again. No apologies. At checkout told the clerk and was told, oh there was a wedding it was busy. NOT MY PROBLEM.

Exceptional

The large bed and spacious room made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The view out to the enclosed courtyard flanked by two tall buildings was exceptional. The staff were helpful and went the extra mile to assist me.

The parking situation was not intuitive. It took a bit to figure it out. Also, the surprise charge for parking was not good. It was not mentioned on the booking app. No one likes to have extra charges added out of nowhere. Also, a microwave oven in the room would have been welcomed.

perfect visit to Springfield

Súper clean and comfortable stay in the heart of the action. Short walk to casino and Theodore’s at much less cost to stay! Staff so friendly and helpful - giving directions, with shortcuts, and helpful hints throughout our stay! We have already recommended to friends and will be back ourselves ASAP!

The room is just standard, same as the majority of less name brand hotels. It's a bit pricey and very little lighting.

wonderful friendly staff, have a lot of kinks to work out to progress.

new, nice looking building and rooms

bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. staff took an extremely long time to serve us and check on us. systems was down and we had to wait which made us late for our plans for the night and instead of it being a complimentary drink for our patience and their mess up we still had to pay. our friends had no working outlets in their room, tv didn’t work and no hot water. they did not give us a 5 use parking ticket we paid $20 for with them like they said. it as one time use only.

the hotel was newly opened…the room was spacious and clean; bed was comfortable! overall I felt like it was more of a 4* than 3* hotel.

Room was nice and comfortable. Receptionist was nice.

They where fixing some other rooms in the floor I was and I could hear the hammering really early in the morning. No ice machine on my floor had to use the one in the other floors. No vending machines

location location location and very hospitable ... but needs to upgrade the details

the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were wonderful

the bathroom was way too small ... the tv was too far from the bed ... for a room this size it needed another chair, couch or bigger desk ... was given only one large towel
