Going downhill

We've stayed here several times for my husband's doctor's appointments. The location is perfect. It's near restaurants we like as well as a couple of miles from his Neurologist.

The more we stay, the more the facility seems to run down. On this visit the carpet near the entry doors and elevator area was dirty and matted looking. The hallway had a "dirty" smell. Our room was comfortable and clean, but when I went to shower one of the dispensers had a nasty substance akin to dirty ear wax on the top of the pump. It made me wonder if these small items are ever cleaned or even wiped down at all, since the TV remote was dirty and sticky to the touch. It turned my stomach. In addition to these items the price has gone up over $30.00 since our stay in October of 2023.

Will never stay at a Marriot Again.

There was no breakfast so I cannot comment.

On check in I was given a card that was in bold print stating the hotel was not responsible for any theft or damage to my car. It advised locking the car after removing contents. The issue I have is not with the adviso that Marriot will not be held liable but with the $8 fee to park in this potentially unsafe lot. How can they charge you to park and not have some accountability. It not the $ it’s the principle. $5 for a small bottle of water is laughable.

I would never stay there again, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I have stayed at Marriott’s many time

Not much to like, lower star hotel that should be $90 a night.

The property has abandoned, broken down cars, broken light poles in the parking lot that you are getting charged $8 a night to park in. The patios are dirty with paint chipping, I would never sit out there, the pool is in the middle, small for the size of the hotel. The Bistro is a complete waste. The staff had a nasty attitude and they closed it whenever they wanted, staying they had no staff; however, all their friends would be hanging out in the lobby. Absolutely no management or quality. Marriot should be embarrassed.

Weekend Getaway

I like the location and how convenient it was for shopping and dining. The area is nice and clean.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

We had a great comfortable stay.

It was nice place to stay. I like the amenities and the lady that checked me in was very nice and professional.

I just didn’t like how the back parking lot was a little secluded and closed in.

Overall my stay was good and I will be booking again

The room itself and the location was perfect..Everything you need is on that strip..

The bar should stay open a little later.. Needs more lighting around the pool at night..

Nice clean Hotel away from the Riverfront and Historic area

Parking was easy, the Hotel was clean and I liked having the private balcony

Breakfast was not included and the $8.00 daily fee for parking thou that fee is much less then the hotels charge at the riverfront or the historic area.

Passable

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Jayda, at the Bistro, was awesome!

The hallways smelled terrible, very dirty smelling. It was obvious it was from the carpet. The first night we were there there was a strong smell of marijuana on our floor, which was unacceptable.

Comfortable room, close to downtown.

Good location not too far from downtown. Cheaper than staying right in downtown.

Problem with billing—I paid through Booking.com but was also billed by the hotel when I left. I got this fixed, but if I hadn’t noticed, I would’ve been billed twice.

Mostly a great stay.

The room was clean and kept very cool. Had enough seating areas and a very large TV. Bathroom was equipt with soap, shampoo and conditioner in shower. Clean.

There were some odd wet spots on the carpet in the room. There was some strange $5 bottle of water in the room for no apparent reason except to bilk the customer. Hallways have a distinct odor that is odd.
