I will stay here again but don’t count on breakfast being on time and take your own towels for pool .

Very large & comfortable room .

There were no towels at the pool and when we requested towels from front desk we were told they’d bring them to us at the pool . We never received them and none were ever brought to pool area during our entire stay . In Sunday we wanted to eat breakfast before getting on the road and even though it was well past 7 o’clock there was a sign saying breakfast area was closed we were told it wasn’t ready yet . We left without getting breakfast. 😔

Overall me and my children loved everything about our stay. The room was very nice.

It was very nice, modern, and very clean. I love the complimentary breakfast as well.

I didn’t like that the guy at the front desk tried to charge me more than what the app said I had to pay.

I expect more from Marriott. Stayed in MANY .. our top choice always anywhere from Jekyll island, Germany, Europe.. like

The staff was nice.

The upkeep .. dirty drink water that we watched the fruit be in for days! Looked so bad!! No toilet paper in the main bathroom in the lobby. Gym needed some help as well. Our room looked like it band bandaids .. not fixed properly in other words. Dents all over the walls, dirty!, like needed painted .. they tried putting in this random desk to have one usb to use and it didn’t even work! The entire room had issues .. very ran down .. it’s like a few nice things mixed up with old building.. very ran down. The lobby was nice. We stayed 3 nights!! We wanted out night one and we’re upset it cost us about $175 a night. But then we read you have to give 24-48 hr notice to cancel to get your money back. We had jsut left the Westin at Jekyll island .. yes a nicer Marriott property but I’ve stayed in many spring hills as well. I was happy to get this .. I have more photos .. the lobby and breakfast, staff were good .. but the room and gym not so much. We could have stayed at other properties with the same rate. We chose Marriott (as always) because it’s usually the best choice. I hope someone reaches out to help fix what happened. Thanks.

Great location

Valarie was Great, great personality, very helpful with tips on places to go, and any assistance needed. Also the person in the kitchen was Great, very nice, pleasant and helpful also.

The tub was stained so bad I had to buy a bath mat to be able to tolerate taking a bath in it, our room was only cleaned once. And there was a roach in it, and we did not bring any roaches.

Overall, the room was bad.

Breakfast only

The room had this offensive smell of wet towels or linen. It had a mold smell. The couch in the room was very dirty. There were rusts around the lamp on the bedside table. The bathroom door hinges all rusts out. The humidity in the room was so high that it made the linen on the bed feel damp. The bed was supposed to be a King bed but was actually sitting on a smaller frame. I was unsatisfied with my stay. The room I stayed in needs lot of TLC.

The sofa smells like cigarettes and the room wasn’t properly cleaned..”musty”..oh and the air filter wasn’t clean so the room wasn’t getting cool, yes I checked the filters..I stayed in 306..have management check..

This room smell bothered me a bit,but the worst part was the bedding was filthy I expected more because of the name..the Marriot..they did give us another room and it was just ok for the Night.

The filthy room that made me feel uncomfortable all night.

Overall Great Stay!

The hotel was close to my daughter's college & also conveniently located near stores and restaurants. The room was clean. I liked the separate desk & coach area as well. There was a space where I could work when needed.

WiFi wasn't the best, I had a hard time connecting. I also walked into the lobby more than once and had to find someone to help me because no one was working at the front desk. Even during checkout, I waited with another customer for help. I walked around & found someone in the kitchen, who then found someone to help us check out.

Very poor

If it wasn't for the great staff, this hotel is a dump. We arrived after midnight due to a traffic problem and walked into a room with stained sheets. Had to change rooms with 83 year old parents in tow at 1.00 in the morning. The rooms were all sold out but the front desk managed to find one room for us. The second room was manageable but just surprised that the Marriott associates the name with this type of establishment.

It was just okay

I liked that it came with a complimentary breakfast. I liked the shampoo/conditioner/bodywash station within our shower. I liked the friendly staff.

Rooms were outdated and in need of help. The AC unit in our room left the floor wet/damp when we walked near that side of the bed. Stains on the wall. Dusty rooms. Outdated electronics.

I've never had a worse hotel experince. We had to leave in the middle of the night.

Absolutely nothing.

There was roaches, it smelled, the smoke dectetor was faulty, and it was too small.

I cancelled my reservation once I got there.

I did not like anything about this place which was very surprising to me bc I always stay at a Marriott Hotel. It look like an senior citizens home, nothing like the pictures displayed online.

disappointing & felt ripped off

location

we were in Savannah celebrating my 89 year old mother’s birthday. The rooms were not clean, needs updating as well. paid way too much for the quality I got. my daughters tried to use the pool but other guests in the pool were making out/other things & would not leave or acknowledge they wanted to use the pool. the common area was like a frat party. I asked for more towels & was told they didn’t have any so had to wait until the evening to ask again at the front desk. also booked on booking.com using filter for pet friendly which was not true & I was charged an extra $200 for my stay. I hope booking.com will correct that filter.

very bad experience. we were traveling from Raleigh, NC and just before we started to drive, I called them to confirm my booking and they told me that it was canceled because they were overbooked. very disappointed.

Room was dirty, sinks were stopped up, shower glass doors weren’t clean, and carpet was dirty. I was aware of renovations, but that doesn’t quantify filthy rooms.
