Beautiful hotel in a great location. Comfortable bed and exceptional service.
Room was a bit small.

The lobby is beautiful and comfortable.
Grier tasting room and Secreto bar are wonderful.
Every single employee we encountered was professional, polite, welcoming and efficient.
Our room was way in the back and the approach is not perfect because the carpet needs to be replaced. Also, our room had no mirror in the main area, only in the bathroom, which made it difficult for us both to dress at the same time.

The austerity of the architecture, with the historical overtones. Stone and Wood, especially the latter. Places you in the eternal past. Great location. Valet parking included, very commodious. The bed was great.
The staff were uneven, generally helpful, although the late night shift was less empathetic...I had a non-life threatening medical issue. The location is adverse for securing even the basic over the counter remedies. The hotel could bear a small shop for such like. The breakfast pastry options were generic; the lack of a breakfast restaurant was notable, but the nearby options were superlative.

our standard queen was very very small. they had not turned on central heat for season so the room was freezing for two nights. they brought up a blanket on night three.
