It's updated the beds were comfortable and I felt safe. The location is walking distance from Santa Cruz.
The parking was kinda of tight but that's at any hotel you stay at.

The property was across the street from the beach. In the morning you can hear the waves.
Everything was pretty nice, however, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, we had to ask for towels as there were none in the room, and its a week later and I have not received my deposit back.

Great location in Santa Cruz, just up the hill and across from the Wharf. The hotel is small but very welcoming and newly renovated. Our room was a standard size with a nice bathroom and good size shower. My partner and I were able to drop off our car in the lot before check in and enjoy all the spots near by in the meantime. It's an incredibly short walk to the Boardwalk and it feels safe at night to walk around the area. Would absolutely stay again!

Location is great. Walking distance to the board walk. Beds were comfortable
I was charged a fee without consenting to it. I had to call to get it reversed. They apparently started charging for parking.
