Convenient to Raymond James stadium and highways. Easy to book. Halfway decent price for a last minute booking. Clean enough beds and covers. Plenty of pillows. Really nice pool. Big enough room. Fridge and microwave, coffee maker. Face cleansing cloths. If needed , shuttle to and from airport and cruise ships. IHOP in parking lot. World of Beer two blocks away. (Not great food or service. But lots of beers.) Most of the front desk staff were friendly.
Someone was in their car outside my room playing their music really loud and it took a while for someone to come tell them to stop. Front desk clerk seemed overwhelmed. Very weak water pressure in shower but nicely scented toiletries. There was one person trying to help several people every time I went to desk. Keys stopped working and had to go to office in the rain to get new keys. Washer and dryer don’t take cash/coin money. You have to use an app and they still have $4.00 of mine that I didn’t use. Laundry is upstairs and no elevator. Air con stopped cooling at one point but worked after resetting. They do NOT clean rooms daily, only if you ask the day before. I called for a “room refresh” when the room instructions said to, the day prior (this means clean, sweep/mop, change sheets, get new towels, have dirty towels and trash collected) but they never came even after calling to inquire twice about it. Omg there were Sooooooo many people there at breakfast, packed in like sardines, I felt like I was getting sick just being in there. Not a good selection either. The hard boiled eggs were the best thing there. But. The coffee at breakfast was excellent.
