Pleasant staff members.

Breakfast was good.

The room was dusty. The water from the shower was dirty. It took a lot water down the pipes to get clear water.

disappointed that we were not given a chance to book an alternative hotel.

construction work was going on and we were not informed which meant the roof top pool area was closed which was a main reason for booking. also woken up early by the workmen.

A very nice hotel, in a good location, with good service but is is overpriced .

A nice 'boutique' hotel in a reasonable location. Decor, cleanliness, staff all high standard. Food was good.

Hotel being renovated. This meant the building was covered in scaffolding , no water for long periods and no breakfast facility on one of the days. So the Juliet balcony with a glimpse of the sea was a view of scaffolding. To be fair when we complained we did get a partial refund - but you do not want to be spending your holidays complaining. We should have been warned and we would have gone elsewhere. Even if no renovation work the price is way too high for the standard of the hotel( which is a common them for the hotels we stayed in on our trip around Soouthern California) Also , each day at 7am a huge garbage collection truck collects all the garbage from the hotel - the noise would most certainly wake you up ( as it did us). Maybe the hotel could find another location for its garbage away from the bedrooms?

We asked for an upgrade and they said they gave one, but it was 2 full sized beds so it didn’t seem like an upgrade? They did give a cute bottle of wine and 4 mini macarons with a handwritten card for my sister’s 30th so that was sweet though.

Not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Stay was okay.

Room was small given the room rate. Light in room was inadequate. Bathroom was very small and furnishings were sparse.

shabby. rooms are very rundown, ac didn’t work, Will does don’t open. overall, everything is run down and not in good repair. poor service. staff not responsive or well trained.

We had a great stay! Came for our 10 year Anniversary. We would come again! :)

The hotel has just been recently remodeled! Lobby, Restaurant, Bar, and Pool area all brand new. Beautiful! The rooms look like they have had a bit of updating, chair fabric, but still a little dated, and furniture a little bit worn, but probably that will be the next update. Still nice tho, and traditionally classic. With that said, the beds are the most comfortable my husband and I have ever slept in!! Just WOW! Cloud! We want one! Staff was very nice and helpful. Outstanding pool service by Forest our Server. Valets were friendly, and charged up our Tesla without being asked. It was so nice the next day to not worry about it. Took advantage of the coffee bar in the AM and Wine bar in the PM. Overall we had a great experience!! 😃

Couldn’t get a pool lounger one day. Could maybe squeeze a few more in? Loved the pool, but would be awesome to have a spa too somewhere which I think they had once?!

I expected a much better room with views and treatment for the price paid over one night.

the valet guy Sean was absolutely awesome, friendly and went out of his way to help, extremely helpful. The person at check-in was disappointing, not friendly, unclear communication. we did not feel welcome at all. we had some credit given to us and he didn’t explain how to use, overall felt bad after a long travel to be greeted this way.

great ambience in the newly updated lobby area. super cute

I would have appreciated more than five bicycles to be lent out by the hotel. too bad we missed them

It was beautiful.

The view was beautiful on the roof. It was close walking to the shopping area.

The bar closed too early. Odd hours in general.

The staff were outstanding as was the location.

The bed was HARD (and the mattress was *really* high up; my wife needed to use chair to get into the bed). Also, it was very noisy.
