The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.
The staff was not friendly, the carpets were not vacuumed, there were empty beer bottles outside, the bathtub and shower area was dirty especially the tub.

The room was ok. Clean and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Be aware this hotel is out in the muddle of nowhere. Cairo is a very small town (900 population). The closest restaurants are 15 or so miles away. This was one of only two hotels in town.
The facility is old and shows its age. Bathroom is very small. You have to wedge yourself between the toilet and the tub to get the door open and closed. There's about a 2' x 2' area to stand in the bathroom. Tub was old and there were several spots where the ceramic was chipped off. Breakfast was advertized as exceptional, but it was mediocre at best. We got there about an hour after breakfast started and the eggs looked like they were left over from the day before. Hard and rubbery. Only one biscuit in the bread box. Gravy was pretty much gone. Based on the cars in the parking lot when we arrived late the night before, the place was pretty much empty of clients, so the food issues weren't from lots of people eating. We were the only ones in the dining room. To their credit, the proprietor fixed us some hot eggs and fresh gravy. But no extra biscuits were set out. Very few selections for breakfast.
