Staff were friendly and efficient without exception. Property was clean, functional and good value for a family stay. Rooms and beds comfortable. Pool area quite busy and compact. Overall a really pleasant stay and great value. Parking on-site was plentiful.
A bit of noise from nearby rooms but didn't go too late. Mostly families with kids near us, which we were too.

The room was excellent and kept very clean. Breakfast and dinner every day was great. The staff was excellent. The day shift manager was very accommodating and there was a girl in the cafeteria named Tiffany that was really helpful friendly and as nice as she could be.
A different selection for breakfast instead of the same old thing everyday.

We picked this hotel because we were heading north the next day to the Grand Canyon, and wanted to avoid the traffic by staying on the north side of Phoenix. It turned out to be really comfortable, and the breakfast was really fantastic. Could have stayed longer!

I really liked our bed. It was soft and comfortable. The pillows were great too!
I didn't like the fact that the one bedroom had an air conditioner only in the bedroom and not in the living room. It was constantly hot and uncomfortable in there. I was grateful that I was able to get a box fan from the front desk to try and circulate the air. We had to keep the AC unit at 65° just to get any cool air into the living room so our daughter could sleep and hang out.
I love the breakfast that is served in the morning but I only saw one gal with a bad attitude, cleaning the dining area the first day of my stay. The other morning...crickets!People act like savages and are so messy. As they are serving themselves food they are making such a mess and leaving their trash by the food which, I'm sure, creates frustration for the employees. This was one of the dirtier experiences I've had at Drury Inn and Suites. There was an extreme amount of children and teenagers present. I am assuming because of the Hurricane water park that was the reason. Nevertheless, children should not be allowed to serve themselves unsupervised. I witnessed a boy that had to be about 11 or 12 years old coughing while serving himself potatoes and then again at the sausage station. When did it become okay to just cough without covering your mouth or turning away. I know this is no responsibility of the property, but it seems that people should practice personal hygiene before entering a public space especially when it comes to food handling.
We will not be staying at this location again.
