Beautiful campus, close to GCU, and the staff was excellent and welcoming! Close to many great shops and restaurants too.
Honestly, the only couple of things I would say is that the tv's are kind of small, the toilets are really small and there are no fans in the bathroom. Not a big deal though.

The location is excellent. Most of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are a few who need coaching on how to interact with guests. The mini store is convenient. I stay here because the good slightly beats out the bad.
The power went out and there was no backup generator. After hours of a power outage around midnight, the top-floor room got very hot. I could not sleep. The staff (gentlemen) at the front desk were not sympathetic in the least.
There was no breakfast. There's an option to buy a "Starbucks" coffee which is just Starbucks beans in an off-brand machine at the cost of real Starbucks. The tiny muffin was $5, the most expensive small muffin I've seen.
The carpet in the rooms is dirty. Turns your bare feet black.
Compared to newer hotels, this is below par in terms of room cleanliness, breakfast, features, etc., but it's certainly not the bottom of the class.
