It is right at the edge of town making it easy to come and go.
There was no relief areas for dogs even though they are advertised and accommodating.

The room, bathroom, and bed were clean and comfortable. Lighting in the room and bathroom were good. Bathroom had an exhaust fan. There was an office chair and an armchair. The refridgerator had a small freezer.
There were no USB ports to charge my phone. The room door was damaged, where an extra lock had been broken off but not replaced. One of the luggage carts had a flat tire, and the other one needed its rails tightened.

Our daughter is a ENMU student and we go to Portales NM often. This trip we really need to budget because money was tight and we had to stay 2 days... We took a chance and tried this super 8... It was half the price of other local hotels we have used before. This was a bit older location, however we were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were renovated, clean, comfortable and a nice breakfast with many options. We will stay here again!

The air conditioner didn't work in the room and I told the owner that I already paid through the app with confirmation number and he said no and charged me again
