The folks at Fairhaven were kind and welcoming. excellent communication, very cool house, the artwork gave the
place a warm vibe. location was convenient, not just for my event, but to downtown and highway.
Hope to return when I have more time.

It was very clean with spacious private rooms for guests and private areas including the garden areas.
It was located in a very nice area
Raven took time to personally welcome us and give a tour of the property
Felt that a TV (either in living room or bedrooms) would be good for guests on a longer stay.

The Fairhave Guesthouse was a lovely place to stay to visit Charlottesville. As affordable accommodations, I appreciated the beautiful yard, the easy access to the neighborhood park, the cleanliness of the home, and the quietness of the neighborhood. The food available for breakfast was limited but fresh and very appreciated. The homeowners are so kind and helpful and made the home feel really welcoming. Added bonus was the screened in porch, the games, and the proximity to downtown, vineyards, and historic sites!
For me personally, I have super minor preference comments. I would appreciate more firm beds. The mattress was too soft for me in the Tidewater room, but they provided plenty of firm pillows I slept on to increase firmness. Additionally, the coffee and tea selection was amazing, however, the creamer was not as smooth as I prefer, possibly because its frozen and thawed.

The kitchen was well stocked with hot pot or 4-5 different coffee makers (keurig, instant, press, etc). Organic eggs, gluten free oatmeal, fruits,pans, pots, breads, etc and even a compost container and recycling. We enjoyed making breakfast and relaxing in the kitchen. There was a great morning porch but weather was a bit chilly. If we had time, I would have loved to enjoy the Firepit that Flame started.
The property was very clean. Kitchen immaculate. Bedroom clean and well thought out on needs. Community area was spotless.
Because community environment, we met a lovely young lady from South America. We had some great conversations and shared travel ideas.
There was plenty of free parking on the street.
Raven was very nice walking me through the house showing me where extra towels and blankets were. Telling how to use compost container. Showing all the kitchen stuff. Making sure I understood rules so as not to disturb other guests. He was friendlier than Nick Saban.
The walls were incredibly thin. Every conversation was heard. There were three bedrooms that shared one bathroom. We had to whisper so as not to wake anyone.
I saw guest house and two queen beds with shared bathroom. I interpreted it as a separate space with two bedrooms for us with shared bathroom not three separate rented bedrooms using one common bathroom.
