The English Inn is a great value and very convenient to John Paul Jones. The included breakfast is excellent!
The hotel is older and showing some age but it is always nice and clean.

Breakfast is commendable, in itself a reason we chose to stay here.
Rooms could be upgraded, but it is understandable as it is an area legacy hotel. What's important is cleanliness.

The hotel is conveniently located if you’re in town to visit your kids, who are currently attending UVA.
The rooms are comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is average. Breakfast is good, although the staff will start ushering you out in a rather unfriendly manner as soon as breakfast time is over.
