Atmosphere great.
That we were on the 2nd floor. We had our dog with us, but understand that's your policy.

Breakfast is commendable, in itself a reason we chose to stay here.
Rooms could be upgraded, but it is understandable as it is an area legacy hotel. What's important is cleanliness.

The breakfast bar was good. It had a large variety of food to include cereal, muffins, eggs and potatoes plus grits and oatmeal. The French toast was small and soggy
The women at the front desk was not a very nice person. Tried to check in but stated the room was not ready. Her comment, nastily stated, was when the light turns green it’s ready. She would not get up or speak up so I had to repeatedly ask her to talk louder. We left to do something and when we came back she was off duty. We were assigned a room next to the elevator, the air conditioning did not work well and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. First impressions are the most important, I had a bad first and last impression with check out being with the lady stating the room wasn’t ready and she gave me a hard time for requesting a printed bill. I’m sure she purposely assigned me this bad room. I did nothing to her at all. She surely would not have wanted to be treated the way she treated me. I had a poor beginning and end. Never again! There are a lot of hotels in the area!
