cleanliness, location, free breakfast, lots of staff. It is a former hotel and it's very professionally run.
limits to hours for the lounge area and the kitchen. More communal areas would have been appreciated.

Not much honestly.
The bathroom and shower were setup weird in the rooms and very small (the sink was in the general area of the room). The outside street was overrun by homeless and no parking is available at the hostel.
