The History of it.

- Great location, close to restaurants and in the heart of town. (Go to Blancos a few blocks away for delicious tacos!)
- Self-parking in a garage nearby was easily accessible.
- Friendly staff.
- The air conditioner was exceptionally noisy. I had to sleep with earplugs in which I’ve never done in my life. If it wasn’t our first night in the US, and we weren’t jetlagged, I would not have been able to sleep through it. We informed the front desk who sent maintenance to check it out, but he said it was normal.
- A homeless person randomly started verbally abusing us as we were pulling out of a carpark, and then started swinging a metal pole at our car. Not the hotel’s fault but just a reminder to be mindful of surroundings,

It had character
It’s old and no frills. No pool even though booking said it did as well as no free parking . Beds were meh. Booked Hilton for the beds. Could feel every spring
