This is a unique property, nestled in the country, loaded with history. This is a former county home/insane asylum restored to serve as a B & B. Very quiet. Clean room. Comfy bed, nice towels, hot shower, lovely breakfast. Pleasant host and kitchen staff. Two outside seating areas.
This property is located about 15 minutes outside of Stillwater. Watch for deer at night! The property borders a county park. The county trails are not well maintained, wear long pants if you go for a hike. The TV in our room was for streaming only. If you wanted to watch dish TV in the common room that was an option if you could get it to work. Tiny refrigerator also in the common area, and microwave. No snacks or fresh fruit available beyond breakfast hours of 9 -10 a.m.

Beautiful location, owners are wonderful and they visit with the guests at breakfast each morning. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.

Less than 10 minutes drive time to town.
Needed updates and maintenance. The bed was uncomfortable. It had a window air conditioner and felt damp inside.
