This was our first true BnB experience and I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I appreciate privacy, especially when we are on vacation. It’s our opportunity to reconnect without the stress of our everyday lives. I worried about feeling pressured to socialize with other guests but that was not the case at all. The evening dessert, amazing breakfast, courtyard with spa, and outstanding location made this a favorite experience on our trip. We are hikers so even though it rained on the full day we had there, it felt so authentic and cozy that I was thankful to have an excuse to spend all day there.

While built beautifully with a B&B as the plan, The Abendblume was built to give you the feel of Bavaria. The building and the rooms are lovely.
The patio was lovely and nice to sit with morning coffee or an evening wine (provided by guest).
It was only a mile from town and you felt like you were further away, which was nice.
The B&B lacked much of what we typically expect. The rooms were very overpriced and the breakfast mediocre at best. There was literally no contact with our host and it lacked anything other than a small breakfast and dessert in the evening.
After spending time in Leavenworth and returning, it would have been nice to have some tea/lemonade made up with some small snack......nothing.
