It was clean and pretty with nice amenities, cocktail hour was nice rooms were very roomy. We had the suite and it was very convenient to everything.

Breakfasts were great. They let us check in early. All the staff were great, especially Marie (breakfast).
Our room smelled a little of B.O. The porch was so wonderful but it was hot.

The Beach House Suite was amazing! Huge with a front sitting room with tv and a back sitting room with a tv. Also back deck with adirondack rocking chairs and private staircase. Very comfy king bed. The shower has steam feature! Beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was healthy and delicious as well as snacks and drinks. Onsite masseuse is a plus. We did use the bikes but some had flat tires and were rusted.
It was record high heat so was very hot even to walk 2 blocks to restaurants. Would have liked to be closer to beach. Way too far to walk in this heat.

Beautiful and well kept up. So close to town and everything you could need is provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our questions (other than the price difference, see below).
Booking.com quoted one price for the stay but we were charged $74 more by the inn even before our stay and then an additional $75 more when we got there for our third person’s food (we understand the second charge, but not the first). They didn’t answer three messages I sent them to deal with the $74 difference, both before and after our stay. It’s too bad, because the stay was wonderful otherwise. But now I don’t trust Booking’s quotes and am left with a bad feeling about the inn since they ignored all my messages.
