Nice hotel,near Ortigia great location
Quite expensive and looking to charge for extras at breakfast and use of jacuzzi on roof top which should be included in price given it is quite costly

I liked everything. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The location is great: it's half-way between Ortigia and the archeological site with Greek and Roman theatres. The restaurant is exceptionally good. The best food I've tried in all of Sicily.
My room on the 1st floor had windows that didn't have shades to block the street light at night.

Perfect location with excellent restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and very comfortable. All the staff were lovely, Valentina especially, who went above and beyond. The type of hotel you look forward to returning to.

The location is convenient, the bed is comfortable. I was in a junior suite and it was a big, very clean and comfortable room.
I couldn’t open the windows. Two of the four windows were locked and the handles of the remaining two were not working properly. As a result, there was very little airflow in the room.
In the bathroom (separated from the room by a sliding glass door), it was impossible to switch off all the lights. In general, the room had no less than 10 light sources and it was not obvious how to switch them off at night.
Really bad was the champagne refrigerated box: I found how to switch the light off but the refrigerator was very noisy at night.
Last but not least, the mattress was comfortable but the linen and cover were very short with respect to the position of the body on the bed.
The amenities were basic and not really in line with a five star hotel.
Also, the breakfast was basic and to have a fresh orange juice you have to pay an extra 4 euros!
Finally I had regularly problems with my key card. The door would not open.
