The service was absolutely outstanding and felt very luxurious. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. Even without asking, staff members would approach us and ask if there was anything they could do to help, which made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay.
The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, and the entire resort was very clean. The food was also excellent, with a great variety of delicious options. Overall, the quality of the service, cleanliness, rooms, and food made our stay very enjoyable.
The main downside was the temperature of the drinks. Most of the time, the soft drinks and juices were not cold enough, so we had to add ice to make them properly chilled.
The minibar/refrigerator in the room also did not cool properly, and the drinks inside were not cold at all. We asked whether it could be adjusted to a colder temperature, but we were told that it was already operating at its coldest setting.
These were relatively minor issues compared with the otherwise excellent experience, but improving the cooling of the drinks and room minibar would make the stay even better.

The beach and pool areas were beautiful and well maintained, making it easy to relax throughout the stay. The entertainment team kept things lively with a great range of activities. Food quality and variety across the restaurants were excellent, and the staff were consistently attentive and friendly, going out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable.
No major complaints — the stay was smooth from start to finish.

I think it’s best to start by explaining the structure of this resort. The beach resort is the upmarket version of the other resort. The beach resort itself is divided into ordinary guests and “posh club” guests, with some amenities only available to the latter. There are four à la carte restaurants included for ordinary guests, plus the buffet. There are three or four others which are not included.
The decor of the resort is very nice, and the pools are excellent. All are heated. There is a very good little shaded pool with warmer water in it for little ones.
Our room was really nice and had a sea view. The kids club was a really great feature. Also, the gym and padel court are brilliant.
However, my biggest complaint about this resort is that there are incredibly loud activities around the main pool for a large part of the day. As someone with a baby who needs lunchtime naps, this was not ideal. There is blaring music and it is far far too loud. When sat on the beach at the other end of the resort, we had to speak up to hear each other over the music. I complained about this twice but they didn’t do anything, despite saying that they would, which really annoyed me.
The food is generally quite good, if you choose well. There is a decent buffet and the à la carte restaurants are quite well done.
The drinks are hit and miss. There is beer available in cans (not draught) but sometimes it is quite warm. The cocktails and spirits are mostly terrible (in particular, the gin is totally undrinkable). The drinks absolutely are not of a 5* hotel quality.
The staff at the beach were really nice and generally the staff in the whole resort were good, although some were quite grumpy. There was a feeling at some bars that you would only get good service if you had left a tip, though. That said, Ahmed and Adel at Oriola bar were incredible staff, and Adel the towel man was simply wonderful.
