Location is great. Bed and sofa are comfortable and all in all we hat a very relaxing time. We stayed four nights and loved it to end each day with a bath in our hot tub.
Pots were missing. But we could have gotten some in the nearby hotel. The cottage is small but cozy. We loved it

We stayed in a lot of nice places on our Iceland trip and this was the best, most beautiful, magical. It is off the beaten path and the drive there was crushingly beautiful on a road right on the fjord, through a long tunnel. The cabin is cozy, all wooden interior with a separate bedroom plus a loft in the kitchen for our daughter (reach via ladder). The kitchen had everything we needed. The veranda wraps around and the hot tub faces a small lake filled with water birds and a mount backdrop all that you can watch while soaking. We took a ferry to Grimsey Island one of the days, from Dalvik to see the Arctic Circle on Solstice and this is 20" drive to the ferry landing. Parking is right at the cabin. Check-in and out was a breeze. Cute pizza pub in town if you like. I wish we'd had more time here!
Nothing we didn't like, but a few things you might want to know: the hot tub will be empty when you arrive. No worries - instructions on how to fill it are easy. Takes an hour to fill, so do that first while you unpack. The ladder to the bunk has you stepping on the narrow sides of the steps (maybe 1.5" wide) so a little hard on the feet - but kids don't care about that! If you care (we didn't), the bunk is the double bed and the bedroom has twin singles (though you could push them together).

Nice spot, entire cabin
The hot tub is empty and you need to fill it up on your own when you arrive, but there is no way to clean it so you’re basically just taking a bath outside in a dirty tub. The listing mentions kayaks, but there are no paddles to be found
