Gateway Coonoor has an outstanding location, close to the town centre and the Nilgiri railway station. Our rooms had panoramic views of the hills around. The breakfast is extensive and delicious, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. The staff from the front office to the restaurant and housekeeping were all cheerful and helpful. The grounds are lush and beautiful with many seasonal flowers even in the rainy season.

The highlight of the property is the location. Pretty close to town .
Hygiene especially in bathroom towels could be improved.

Beautiful property, courteous staff, excellent food. Special mention of Jhilik and Animesh from the restaurant for their fantastic service.
Email and verbal communication with the office and front desk should be improved.
