We have stayed here two years in a row en route to Spain on a golf holiday with our club from France. We absolutely love it! The hotel is very ski-lodge/log cabin style and only a few hundred metres from the golf course. The staff puts up with our rowdy evening eating whatever we can order and drinking as much as we can get down before they have to kick us out to our rooms. The rooms are quite big and have all you require from a hotel room. If I were being tedious, I would say the bathrooms are a bit dated, but we don't care because we love the place. Breakfast is excellent and the selection is the best "continental" I have yet had on the continent. Our group has already put in for booking again next year!
The only downside for us is the lack of a proper restaurant. The bar serves meat and cheese platters and salads, but that is the sole "issue.". We wouldn't want to only survive on their bar snack menu for 2 nights.

The location was very good location, friendly staff. Quiet surroundings. It was easy to park our car and check-in and out was smooth. Breakfast was nice.
The room was a "family" room, despite this the kids section was in a second floor with a very steep staircase. We asked for a fence for the staircase but they only had 2 broken ones, so we had to block the staircase with our bags. It was also a surprise that a 4-star hotel doesn't have a restaurant (besides breakfast), only a bar serving microwave heated meals.
