Amazing little spot in Oberried. We had a top floor room in the main building with the restaurant. The building looks old from the outside but our room had been renovated and was very nice. There is AC so it was cool in the summer. There is a health and wellness area that we had access to as well - it has a pool, sauna, and hammocks, plus a kids playground. Parking is very easy to access and is right on the side of the building.
The breakfast was fairly basic.

Lovely traditional hotel, with an excellent brand new swimming pool in a well equipped and laid out pool area with sauna etc. Surrounding countryside was absolutely beautiful.
No air conditioning, but it was a heatwave and it would be difficult to fit in a character traditional black forest building like this

The location is beautiful and close to areas of interest
The breakfast was delicous
And the staff was great
The room is big, comfortable and ours overlooked the pool.
The aircon isnt strong for thise who, like us prefer sleeping in colder temperatures.
There is currently construction infront of the hotel so at some points it was dusty and loud but durign the weekend they did nto work.

Peaceful location and views. Good breakfast.
The room was very small and old. I think there is a more modern building where most of the marketing photos shown seem to have been taken. For what we paid, feels like we got a substandard quality room.
