Rooms were older but clean, tidy and comfortable. No more than a 2 / 3 min walk into the centre of Whitby which was really handy. Good sized carpark and friendly staff.

We had Sunday dinner really good. Staff lovely welcoming and friendly
There was alot of cobwebs on ceiling and top of bathroom tiles had mould which was a shame as bathroom was quite clean

Location was fantastic, 5 minute walk and you were in the centre of Whitby. Hot, powerful shower.
The room needed quite a bit of TLC. Very tired looking. Bed not so comfy. The hair dryer didn't work properly on full power, sounded like it was going to blow a fuse. Shower tiles and grout needed a good deep clean and the radiator needs replacing or at least fixing, the top and sides are all loose.
