All good. Some of the complaints I've read from others were unfounded. Maybe they just don't understand some of the things that go along with staying at an independent historic property?

Mainly the location. The area is really nice and close to Opera and Place Vendome and Concorde and like half an hour or less walking to Champs Elysees. The room looks like it’s recently renovated and it was very clean.
We were not given a room in the main building but in a building near the entrance and it felt more like a separate building which we didn’t like. Parts of the hotel look like it’s under renovation, main reception I guess. Also we could hear every movement in the upper floor early morning and late nite which was not the best.

Lovely historical building. Also I got really sick and the staff were amazing in helping me. They went above and beyond.
It was a little less central than we realised. But that meant it was quiet at night.

Location and decor and vibe of the hotel.
No AC. It was not working! The bed mattress was horrible. I have to order an extra bed, and I was surprised that they charged me!! Thought the mattress really felt old and overused !!
