We booked last minute and were quite late to the hotel. The staff were very helpful, the kitchen remained open and we had a fantastic meal.

This is a fabulous hotel and restaurant - perfect for a really lovely, luxury stopover. We had a suite as not a lot more £ and it was really lovely. Didn’t see a standard room but I’m sure of excellent equality. The hotel has several areas for food which probably rotate depending on the weather but it was sunny so we were in the outside area. It IS quite pricey for food but you are sitting in a lovely location by the river. The staff are very busy in restaurant..
On check in info to be given on breakfast timings as couldn’t find info in room so called reception in the morning.

The restaurant was very disappointing. Even though they were on the menu they didn't have the two items we wanted saying that there had been a menu change. The service was off hand. It was expensive. It wasn't worth it. Much better was a local restaurant in Deurle we were recommended by the reception staff
