Insgesamt gut und zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt ganz nah am Kurfürstendamm und ist sehr gut an den Nahverkehr angebunden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt in einem Jugendstilgebäude und hat dadurch seinen besonderen Charme.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, und es waren Ohrstöpsel für einen guten Schlaf nötig. Der Zimmerservice ist noch optimierbar - eigentlich sollte man sich das Bett nicht selbst machen müssen für den Zimmerpreis. Im Frühstücksraum sitzt man sehr dicht aufeinander - das ist gut zu tun, wenn das Hotel nicht voll belegt ist.

Lovely personel can't make up for a lackluster experience that is too expensive for what it offers.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

There were a lot of defects in the room. We stayed in room 2. - Shower-head holder was broken, shower-head would come down randomly. - The toilet did not properly flush, often requiring up to 5 flushes to get rid of anything. - One of the curtains was held up by duct-tape. - One of the wall outlets didn't work. Furthermore: - The hotel uses a picture of a nearby building that is way prettier than the actual hotel. - The bed was ok at best. - The bathroom was tiny. We are both very slim but tall people and we could barely turn around in the shower without hitting the shower-faucet. - The provided hairdryer was very old and smelled worryingly burned while in use. - The location was just a bit unfavorable for using public transport. Only busses were very close, the u-bahn was a 7-minute walk. - Just too expensive for what it is.

Good location and value for the money

The atmosphere was relaxing and comfy.

Check in was a bit stressful. There are a lot of things you have to do before you go to your room. Even I had a baby in my arms.

reception doesn't work after 10 clock, bathroom is small, the old window, and complet hotel need an investment

Very poor

The stuff was very gentle.

There is no coffee machine or boiler in the room. The lights wasn't enough in the room. Besides that the building is very old.

Clean but old

The young woman at the reception was very friendly, location was very nice and close to everything, room was old but very clean, strong hot shower and hair dryer.

My room was really cold and all I had a thin blanket, I needed to sleep with many layers and put my jacket on top of the blanket. Mattress was old and had a huge dent in the middle. The room was too dark, and TV wasn't working.

- very clean - good location

- the door was old and therefore it didn't give us the feeling of security - the bathroom smelled because of poor ventilation - the receptionist didn't speak English - overpriced for the facilities offered (eg. no shampoo) - no elevator (the stairs wasn't in a very good condition)

Good value for money. Very comfy beds

Nice old fashioned hotel. Building is old and a bit tatty but also beautiful and full of character. Room was big. Perfect for family of 4. Fridge very useful. There was no hot water in the shower but situation was solved promptly (we could use other, smaller room for shower). I wasn’t too keen on location- too posh 😂 prefer more family and purse friendly Mitte but this is personal choice and I am sure majority of people would love this area.

Kettle in the room but be amazing.

Charming, peaceful hotel filled with birdsong - a real retreat!

The staff were so accommodating, friendly and helpful. I felt really safe there. The hotel itself is a beautiful charming building with fabulous high ceilings and windows to match. I loved all the birdsong filling my room from the tall trees in the inner courtyard. The entire stay was easy, peaceful, safe and happy.

I think each room should have a mini fridge and tea making facilities. The hotel were very accommodating to me in providing me with a kettle as a special request but it is not the norm. I bought some food to make sandwiches for lunch during my vacation but had to discard them due to lack of a communal or mini fridge.

It was hot. The wall of room was dearty. We could see somebodys hand on it. TV didn't work properly.

changed rooms after first night due to room being small and having no place to put things (clothes, etc) The bed in first room was stuck in an alcove with no tables either side. shower in both rooms was hard to use… the shower head was not a fixed to wall, was hand held.

The classic look of the hotel was nice. The room had everything that made it comfortable.

The space to walk in the room was a bit constricted. The fan did not work.

beautiful house and low price

beautiful old huge Berlin style apartment with really high cealings turned into Hotel. much more exiting than a new chain hotel

we expected breakfast at the hotel. there was even a sign about breakfast buffet. but the door to the breakfast room was locked, no information about the breakfast being canceled and no staff there to ask.
