Located in Avila Beach, this charming house for $600 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Villa Risa means Home of Laughter. This beautiful Modern Spanish luxury home will provide the perfect vacation for a quiet get away, or a fun packed adventure. Villa Risa has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms downstairs, a large living space upstairs with 3 high end sleeper sofas and a half bath. We had the option of a 3rd bedroom, but purposefully chose to make a larger living space to create awesome memories with friends and family. We placed high quality sleepers in the living area so everyone will sleep comfortably. There's also space on the master floor to sleep some kids on comfy pads we provide. A beautiful outdoor space for grilling and relaxing is right off the main area. You certainly don't have to (you are on vacation!), but the gourmet kitchen will tempt you to stay in and cook while enjoying the view of the central coast mountains. Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. A great park for kids with an adjoining basketball court is also close. The fall is a great time to visit for apple picking and tasting. Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore. It's just south of San Luis Obispo (SLO was voted one of the top 5 happiest cities) and nearby dozens of vineyards. SLO has the largest farmers market in California every Thursday night of the year, and Avila Beach has a lovely one each Friday night of the summer. Great shopping is all around as well as yummy seafood and all types of restaurants for every taste. If you like antiques, Arroyo Grande will delight you. Kayaking in Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby. Or, you may want to just grab the beach chairs, towels and umbrella and walk down to the beach and read a good book. The options are really endless. All of your basics will be provided. If you're renting for a week and would like a mid week cleaning that can be arranged upon request. We also have connections with a great home chef if you'd enjoy some in home gourmet food.

We loved every part of our stay in Villa Risa de Avila. The location was a quick walk to town. The beds and sofas were comfortable and inviting, and the hot tub was the perfect end to the day watching the sunset. We didn’t want to leave.

The only issue we had was that in the email it said check out is 11:00, but then at the house it says check out is 10:00. Other than that it is a gorgeous place and such a great little town and beach. My daughter and I had a blast. Thank you!

This Place had Everything we could have wanted for our trip…Great location near Beach & 4 bikes so you can get there in literally 1 minute… super comfortable couches for hanging out…a hot tub on the roof! Fabulous Kitchen… comfortable Beds and a host that promptly responds to questions. 5 Stars is not enough!

Everything was perfect. The Villa is centrally located, not on the busy main roads of Avila like many other vacation rentals, but in a dead end. Very nicely and tastefully furnished, all in very good condition. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is clearly signposted. The owner is a totally likeable guy. Great place not only for visiting Avila Beach but also just a short drive of only 10-15 minutes to SLO and a great destination for the visiting the Central Coast. We will definitely come back! This three story condo is beautiful and has everything. We completely enjoyed the interior rooms, the patio, and the rooftop hot tub. Directions were explicit on how to enter the home, how to operate devices, and how to leave the area. The ocean, beach, and town are down the hill and just a few minutes away. This was a beautiful and wonderful place for us to spend some family time. Thank you.

This property was perfect! It is super clean, Perfectly decorated, private and close to downtown/beach. Would highly recommend. The deck is perfect to hang out, relax and have coffee in the morning, or cocktail in the evening. Super quiet at night!

Very open floor plan with a rooftop hot tub! My daughter had her 16th birthday party and all the girls loved the openness and the ability for all 7 of them to sleep together in the same room! Close to the beach!! They also have towels, blankets, chairs and bikes to utilize while you are staying there. The owners were in a different unit and the nicest people you could meet. Very warm and open and we even got to meet one of their granddaughters, who was super cute and friendly! Great place! Thank you for sharing it!

This Avila beach property is beautiful, clean, well managed, with a view of the ocean from the kitchen, and a short 3 walk block down the hill to the beach. I had a little confusion about check-in and lock box because I hadn't read the instructions carefully enough. I reached out to the property manager and they were very responsive and directed me how to check-in. However, upon careful reading of the instructions, they had everything spelled out well, I just misunderstood at first glance. All appliances and materials of this house are top notch. Solid and comfortable place. Lovely outdoor patio with a mountain view and ocean out the kitchen window. Very convenient to everything downtown - if you can walk 3 blocks up or down the gradual hill. My family and I loved it! And the bidet! - my family wants one now that they've had the opportunity to use one!

Steve and Grace have excellent taste. The house is exactly as the ad shows. We had such a good time and enjoyed the house immensely. We had some friends over and they could not believe how gorgeous the house was. Every amenity was thought of. And the beds were the most comfortable I have ever had. The kitchen is a cook delight with enough room to enjoy company. Thank you both for the use of your house. We will return.
