The reception staff are exceptionally good and highly qualified. In particular, Mr. Pedro has impeccable English and helped us book the city tour as well as recommend and make reservations at excellent restaurants. Our room was the standard one, without special decorations, but very cozy. The water fountain is turned off at night, so it does not disturb sleep. It was a wonderful experience.

Nice room of a decent size. Bed, desk, and storage were all fine. Bathroom was simple but fine. Very good breakfast. Excellent staff. Nice lobby area. The neighbourhood is walkable. The pool looked great but didn't get a chance to use it. Overall, I felt the hotel was an excellent value.
The shampoo was empty in the shower, which might have been a problem except I usually bring my own. The safe in the closet didn't work. Apparently the battery had gone dead. The hotel replaced the battery and it worked fine.
