The location was it for us, and with parking that made a big difference to us. Just a short walk into town, and central to where we wanted to visit.
The room was clean and tidy, must say it was slightly smaller than we would have liked but it was a last minute choice for us. Breakfast was good, but we are not use to eating a full English breakfast every day.

Only a short walk down to the down and the nearby service station has lots of food and snacks. Breakfast was easy and no fuss (though if all rooms booked breakfast times do need to be staggered/scheduled). Bed very comfy and there was no annoying hill/dip in the middle like some beds have. Host friendly without being overbearing so that was a nice plus (and they, at the time of my stay, had a lovely and calm little dog). Lovely spot in the rear yard in the shade looking over some small waterfalls to escape the summer heat.
Rooms have high ceilings so there were some stray spider webs hanging around. Parking will be tight if all three rooms are taken and any group has more than one car. Is by the main road so you will hear traffic noise all night and get headlight light, best to take earplugs/eye masks.
