The personnel was very friendly and accommodating, we really appreciate their flexibility. The location is great, with beautiful old buildings and very well maintained. Close to the hotel is the river, along which you can take your dog for a walk. The outside seating area for the breakfast is very nice.
The room was a bit warm, mostly due to the heatwave in Europe. We did not expect airconditioning in our room, but only 1 of the 6 windows had a mosquito screen. We opened another window to get some draft, but this resulted in some mosquitos during the night. At breakfast there were quite some wasps outside and also a few inside.

It was a quiet, calming environment away from from the main city. We enjoyed the the birth of spring in the countryside.

The location and the old buildings themselves were quite charming.
The online description as well as the title of the hotel (Hotel Restaurant & Spa) promised a normal spa facility of some sort - instead, what you get is a sauna (2 sauna rooms to be exact), which is basically closed and will be heated upon request if you let them know 1 hour before you plan to use it... This is no wellness and no spa! The description is utterly misleading... The double bed is extremely soft, not very healthy or comfortable.
