Clean room, comfortable and has AC
The location was a bit further away from the main street and area, about 8 minutes by walk but it wasn’t nice to walk there in the dark. Nothing dangerous actually happened but another hostel I stayed at was way closer and seemed like a better location, but this one had better rooms

White House was such a wonderful stay, the owners went above and beyond in their service; they were always so kind, friendly and accommodating to anything needed! I can't say enough how amazing this stay was, the room was really spacious, very clean and housekeeping was offered everyday, there is some hammocks to laze around in, I felt very safe, even on the odd night it was only me at the hostal (typical for low season travel). There is a big kitchen with enough utensils to make meals and dedicated cupboards for storing your items. They let me check in early, helped me with laundry and really went above and beyond in fixing an internet issue. I work remotely so the internet was something I was relying on. The location was great, it was close to Mercado Municipal, where there is great empanada stands in the evening and all points to the port and highlights of the Puerto were walking distance. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with close proximity to everything.

The room had everything described
It was a bit of a walk to the port, which was tough with the baggage.

Nice property. Secure. Interior courtyard was a nice oasis. Room was basic plenty of hot water
The host could not communicate with me and nor did she try even when I used google translate. Comunial kitchen was either messy as guests didn’t clean up after themselves or was busy and I couldn’t use
